Support in the capacity of language assistant for the monitoring and analysis of security and political developments, trends and emerging issues related to the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine. Assist in the identification of concerns and perceptions of the local population throughout the area of Sievierodonetsk - Luhansk oblast. Provide multi-lingual dialogue facilitation (English, Ukrainian, Russian, French) on behalf of the OSCE SMMU between Monitoring Officers and local stakeholders;
Assist in the representation of the mission at the regional and/or local level while, in coordination with monitoring officers, ensuring that all relevant governmental and non-governmental actors in the area have accurate information about the mission's mandate and full-range of operations;
Maintain collaborative relationships with Government representatives, key political actors, military and law enforcement actors, civil society organizations, representatives of minority and religious groups, and NGOs through information-sharing and facilitating policy and coordination matters at regional and local levels;
Support the manning of the Forward Patrol Base in Novoaidar (Luhansk oblast, government-controlled area) while simultaneously performing supplemental duties such as logistical support, liaising with local staff, telephoning local officials, scheduling meetings, and maintaining contact with high ranking local and regional civil/military authorities and local counterparts;
Assist Monitoring Officers in Human Dimension elements such as updating Village Profiles, Price Checking requests, written translations, and providing lists of facilities in various locations;
Support the work of monitoring officers with respect to monitoring cases of human rights violations, talking to families of victims, victims themselves, assisting the human rights focal point monitoring officers, working primarily in the field. Support the work of monitoring officers with guards at military check-points, with armed groups, soldiers at contact line, people of different cultural and religious backgrounds, different gender and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity.
Support outreach programs/projects of OSCE, collection and maintenance of information about villages etc.

Provided translations and proofread official texts and documents which included legal texts, administrative instructions, and informal communications. Provided translations at meetings and round table discussions to staff members from Ukrainian/Russian into English and vice versa.

Supported (in the capacity of language assistant) the monitoring and analysis of security and political developments, trends and emerging issues related to the ongoing conflict in the Eastern Ukraine affecting the implementation of MSF mandate;
Conducted an assessment of the security situation and medical facilities available within Luhansk (Ukraine, non-government controlled area), namely in the regions of Alchevsk, Anthracite, Brianka, Kirovsk, Krasnodon, Krasnii Luch, Pervomaisk, Rovenki, Sverdlovsk, Stakhanov as well as Debactseve, which became a part of ``DPR''-controlled territory;
Liaised with local authorities and major stakeholders in order to obtain official authorization for the execution of medical-related activities as well as identifying the locations where that activity could be conducted. Conducted daily field trips with MSF staff to local hospitals, mobile clinics and medical home visits. Organized the daily activities of the mobile clinic by setting up the clinic work schedule and speaking with patients in line as well as in the clinic. Conducted visits to hospitals all over the ``LPR''-controlled areas in order to assess their needs and make supply inventory of the medicines and equipment urgently needed;
Acted as supply and warehouse assistant by preparing medical kits for hospitals, creating electronic database of medical items, and providing logistic support.
